In 2017, Parkland Foundation is looking forward to an exciting year with progress starting on the new lodge and expanding on the neighbouring seniors’ independent living facility.

The Foundation is pleased to announce that the Government of Alberta has selected JMAA architecture from Red Deer as the architect for the project. The initial design work will begin shortly and we are looking forward to developing the vision and shape of this project in Innisfail with government.

In follow up to its update in May 2016, the Board is still pleased to say that the Government of Alberta remains committed to funding for a new lodge and to add capacity to the Foundation’s independent living. The new lodge will be built on land next to the existing Autumn Glen Lodge, which will continue to operate during construction.

Innisfail… This month, Parkland Foundation releases its 2015 Annual Report, highlighting its achievements over the past year.

Construction of the new lodge and independent living facilities will be managed by the Government of Alberta with construction expected to begin next year.

Committed to providing quality care to the clients it serves, Parkland Foundation is shifting managerial roles to better meet the needs of residents.

We are delighted to present our first Report to the Community for 2014 since partnering with The Bethany Group. Much has happened over the past year and we hope you find the report informative and interesting.

On March 20, 2015 the representatives from the Governments of Canada and Alberta gathered with the Board of Directors, residents, and media to announce a $17.6 million investment into the replacement of Autumn Glen Lodge.

Parkland Foundation is pleased to announce a new partnership with The Bethany Group effective February 1, 2015. The Bethany Group, headquartered in Camrose, will assume CAO duties and management of the foundation’s operations while reporting to the Board.
